Air/Vapor Barrier Installation Audits
J.R. Specified Systems, LLC is a certified Air Barrier installation auditor and offers turnkey inspection/auditor services for pre, during, and post air/vapor barrier system installations for liquid applied, Self-Adhered, and Sprayed in Place Polyurethane Foam (SPF). Air/Vapor barrier audits are available for any projects anywhere in the continental U.S. The auditor will conduct a visual and physical examination of the air barrier installation to ensure all aspects of the air barrier installation including the conformance to the project specifications and to ensure the air barrier materials and accessories are installed as per manufacturers specifications. The auditor shall ask to see the daily reports, and other related materials pertinent to the project for that day and for days prior to the audit. The auditor will verify that the information recorded on the form is accurate and complete to the extent that this can be done. We carry general liability & errors/emissions business insurance.
Once the auditor has reviewed the audit report, it and accompanying pictures are sent to the Air Barrier Contractor, General Contractor, Architect (specifier) and Manufacturer. This allows for the interested parties to resolve any concerns, or deficiencies that have been found during the audit.

Specified Systems, LLC offers complete and proactive asset management services and inspections for roofing, waterproofing, air/vapor barrier systems, and exterior wall compositions that need a professional remedy. We survey the facility to determine the current conditions and combine the findings with a scope of work to rectify the issue through either restoration measures or retrofit practices utilizing quality contractors who we've worked with for decades. We then recommend corrective actions and implement an effective repair and/or replacement management system. J.R. Specified Systems, LLC identifies restoration/rehabilitation alternatives for the client including cost estimates. We assist the clients plans for future use of the facility with a present life cycle cost analysis. We provide a narrative report that describes existing conditions including the architectural integrity of the components being discussed or assessed. This is followed up with a turnkey recommendation that includes photographs, documentation, measurements (if applicable), and all necessary data specific to substantiate our observations and forensics. We develop and process thorough quality assurance/quality control monitoring during this imperative time for the delivery of what we have promised the client. A job well done.
